On the other hand, our kitchen surprises with a refined, high-quality selection of dishes, prepared with care, the best ingredients and years of experience. Down-to-earth yet special – just like Italy itself.
Our menu is a love letter to Italian cuisine. Classic recipes meet modern touches, traditional preparation meets creative ideas. Whether it’s an easy-going dinner with friends, a glass of wine outdoors, or a special menu for a special occasion – everyone will find their place here.
What truly makes “Il mio sogno” is the people behind it. For me, this restaurant is not simply a workplace, but a piece of home. A place where, together with my team, we live true Italian hospitality. A place where we take time – for good food, for conversations, and for the little moments that make all the difference.
“That was my idea too when I took over the restaurant at this location”: a place that feels like the small taverns off the main tourist routes – right in the middle of Döhren.
Since taking over, Giovanni has built his dream step by step from the corner restaurant at Fiedeler Platz: with a lot of heart, a menu full of classics and surprises – and a neighbourhood that has long since become family.
